TheCloudBill can be used for daily billing, invoicing, and client management requirements by anyone who owns a business. Regardless of the nature or size of the business, it covers all the features and functionalities needed to keep your business processes running effortlessly.

We suggest you start by signing up for a free trial of TheCloudBill here. Go through the modules to check which suits your business process the best. Then, Choose a plan accordingly and know that you can upgrade or downgrade anytime you want. No, TheCloudBill’s mobile and web app do not work offline. Since all your data in TheCloudBill is stored on remote cloud servers and not in your device/system, you will have to have an internet connection and a browser to be able to use it.

Yes, you can. You can start with signing up for a free plan which includes a 30-day free trial of our Professional. When you plan expires, you will not be able use some of our premium features and can continue to use the features included in our free version. Visit our features and pricing pages to get a details on the features included in each plan.

Subscription & Billing

We do not auto renew the subscriptions. If your subscription expires, you will not be able to access certain features. So your Free Plan feature The paid features and your data related to those features, however, will be accessible to you again as soon as you renew your subscription manually.

No, our payment system does not incorporate auto renewal for subscriptions. If your subscription expires, you will not be able to access certain features based on the plan you were using. You still will be able to use all the features that fall under our free plan. The paid features and your data related to those features, however, will be accessible to you again as soon as you renew your subscription manually. 

The cost you pay to maintain your organizations depends on the plan that you have subscribed for. You can create and maintain upto 1, 3, and 5 organizations under our free, standard, and professional plans respectively. So the cost of each organization will be covered in your subscription plan. However, you can subscribe to our Extra Company add-on if you wish to add more organizations to your existing plan.

We don’t incorporate an auto-renewal subscription system. And hence, we don’t store your payment details. You’ll have to renew your plan every time it expires and can use different or same payment methods each time. 

You can view and download PDF receipts for the TheCloudBill subscriptions that you have purchased under the My Profile section of your account.

If you have a monthly standard subscription active, it is advisable to make the switch to the professional plan when you have to renew the subscription at the end of the month.

But if you have subscribed to our yearly Standard package and need an upgrade to the Professional plan in between, drop your upgrade request at [email protected] One of our executives will get in touch with you to guide you on how to proceed.

If you have a monthly professional subscription active, you can only make the switch to the standard or  free plan while renewing your subscription at the end of the month. Note that this switch will effect your usage of certain features that fall under our paid plans. Your data associated with those professional or standard features will stay safe with us until you upgrade back.

However, in case you have an annual professional subscription active and want to downgrade for some reason, you’ll be provided with a refund after we analyze your refund request.  We recommend you go through our Refund Policy to see whether or not your refund request is eligible.

Account

No, we don’t allow users to change their login email addresses after the sign-up.

Go to https://app.thecloudbill.com/account/company and click on the “Forgot Company Id” option. You will then be asked to enter your admin email (the email address you use to log in to your organization). If this email address is correct, we’ll send you an email containing the Company Id of your organization which you can then use to log in to your TCB account.

Go to https://app.thecloudbill.com/account/company and enter your Company Id and hit Sign In. Click on the Forgot Password option on the page that you are redirected to. Then re-enter your company Id and user email to get a password reset link to this email address.

Data

TheCloudBill removes all your data from their active databases after one year of inactivity in your account. Your data will then be removed from the backup databases after 6 months of being removed from the active databases.

All of our modules have a data import feature where we specify the format that you need to use to import your data correctly into TheCloudBill. However, if it seems too complicated, you can get in touch with us at [email protected] and one of our executives will guide you through the process of your initial setup.

Security

In accordance with our privacy policy, your credit card details are NOT stored in our servers . The card details you enter while signing up for TheCloudBill, are moved to the payment gateway in order to process your subscription renewals for each cycle.

Refund

We do issue refunds but your refund request should satisfy our refund criteria. Please read our Refund Policy to learn more.

Add-ons

Yes, you can! Please go through our pricing page to learn more about add-ons and their integration criteria with different plans.

Reports

Yes, you can generate GSTR1 and GSTR3B reports. 

TheCloudBill lets you view and download your purchase reports, sales reports, PNL statements, balance sheets, GST reports and much more.

Taxes

TheCloudBill is always under the supervision of multiple experienced chartered accountants to make sure we stay up to date on all the new policies and regulations. Likewise, any changes in the policies are implemented and validated within TheCloudBill almost immediately to help our clients maintain their same business processes without much hassle. 

Yes it affects and updates previously added invoices.

No, your transactions in the past will not be affected by deleting the tax linked to it. If you feel a tax you created is not of much use for your business, then you can go ahead and delete it without worrying about your previous transactions.

Yes! We provide generation of GSTR1 and GSTR3B reports. 

No, we do not support IT return filing from within TheCloudBill at the moment.
